Stage Control

Stage Control:
For instructions on how to control the stage using the keyboard, click on the exclamation button .

  1. Target Position: set the target stage position in mm. Hover around the target position box to show the preset translation range of each stage: 
  2. Current Position: show the stage position feedback in real-time. The stage coordinates are real-world coordinates. For example, positive Z values mean lifting up the stage.
  3. Set Focus Ref: set the focus reference/standard for Z lock. For detailed instructions, check here.
  4. Focus: perform a one-time focus of the sample based on the user-defined focus reference.
  5. Z Lock: perform real-time focusing of the sample based on the user-defined focus reference.
  6. Go Home: move the XYZ stages to their origins (0,0,0). Homing with the Z lock enabled maintains the focus position.
  7. Open Position List: save/read positions to/from a list. For detailed instructions, check here.
